The service is horrible . The food is very bad for the price that you pay . The cooks are rude . Went once and will never go back again.

We drove up because of the rib offer. It reminded me of cruise food. Lots of suspicious looking stuff. Just went to say we went. Won't be going back.

We meet my sister in law and her kids here on the weekends. Perfect place for the kids. Thats about it. Pot roast is yummy. The desert bar is crazy. Banana pudding is what killed Elvis.

If I could give negative stars, I would. Awful. Old, cold food. Dirty. Poor service. Seriously, the worst GC ever. Go to Orlando instead!
This particular GC is decent. Yes, if you show up at the wrong time of day it's a mad-house; yes, it's a buffet so you don't necessarily get the best of quality since there's plenty of quantity; and yes, the management is less than friendly...but I still think it's pretty decent. The salad bar is the best part - Everything is always fresh and you can see them preparing more to as they start to run out. The food, like I mentioned, is not overly great, but it's not bad either. I've never been fond of their steaks, but the meatloaf, chicken, and taco bar has always been good. Of course, the best part of a trip to GC is the dessert bar. Although I wish their ice cream was more "creamy" than "icy" they have such a wide variety that you can find something else to sweeten your tooth. The other thing that bugs me about the place is their pricing, it is overpriced for the quality of food being prepared.

The salad bar is very good with many choices. That being said, the place has gone way downhill from when I used to go years ago. The steak is way to fatty. The vegetables were very soggy and over cooked. The service is very good. If you never been to a buffet place then go here just to try it. Better off going to a decent restaurant instead.

Ok there is no Golden Coral where I live so we figured we'd try it out. I will start off with a few good points. The drink server was nice and fast. I was also surprised that the steak on the buffet line was cooked medium rare. Now it was also cold and fatty to the point were it was really not edible. As for everything else well just walk down the frozen food aisle in your local grocery store you will find all there.

This place is actually better than the one in Orlando on Int'l Drive. I find their food very salty for my taste. I usually just eat salad and rolls. Buffet is a place to go to if you are very hungry or don't know what to have. A once a year visit to this place is good enough for me.

I had absolutely the worst dining experiences in my whole life of 56 years!! While attempting to dine at this Golden Corral, my wife and I sat in front of the grilling area for steaks, chicken, burgers. For ONE SOLID HOUR, we watched this young spanish male cooking (if that's what you want to call it). During this hour we watched this young man who was wearing gloves like required pick at his butt, scratch his nose and run his fingers through his hair and rub his face and mouth WITH HIS GLOVES then use the same gloves, pick up a huge stack of raw hamburger patties and put them on the grill. Then with same gloves on, grabbed a stack of hamburger buns and start placing the cooked burgers on these buns (WITH SAME GLOVES), place the burgers on the buns and then added cheese slices and pickles to each then stack them in the pan for customers to eat. ALL OF THEM CROSS CONTAMINATED WITH THE RAW MEAT AND HIS GROOMING MATERIALS FROM HIS BODY!!!! THEN.....he grabbed a stack of RAW steaks and put on grill then grab the utensils that people use to serve themselves to stir the food around the grill area. Now the utensils are contaminated. He then opened up two loaves of Texas toast bread with SAME CONTAMINATED GLOVES and began buttering it in the buttering wheel and began to cook it. Now the whole front line of food IS CROSS CONTAMINATED. Everything there should have been thrown away immediately. I demanded the manager to sit and talk with me. I knew when he sat down he did not really have any interest in hearing what I had to say. He made excuses for this young man by saying "He's New here". BIG DEAL!!! Retrain this kid or better yet FIRE HIM. He swore he would handle it. I watched him go into the back to speak with this cook for a whold 30 seconds. The cook then came out of kitchen with a wet rag and wiped the front of the grill windo off. So....this tellls me me manager HAD NO CARE NOR CONCERN FOR MY HEALTH OR YOURS!!! He made NO effort to handle this cook or get rid of the destroyed food!!!!! After going to this GC for many year.....WE WILL NEVER RETURN HERE....I am putting the world out to all I know to deter them from eating here. Being a restaurant manager for 20 years myself, this manager SHOULD BE FIRED ON THE SPOT ALONG WITH THE COOK!!!!! And now I will be contacting the health department and health inspectors office about this immediately. If there is no concern for me do you think there is any for you?

This place appears to be popular to numerous geriatric patients and traveling families with small children, both groups willing to take what they can get. I was visiting the area and strolled over there due to desperation and low blood sugar, attempting to avoid slipping into the clutches of hunger-biatch mode. I sort of felt out of place, considering that my non-gray hair definitely put me in the minority. I made polite conversation with the elderly gentleman at the table next to me. He had a buzz cut and a dark toupee that literally only covered the crown of his head (party in the front, naked in the back). He made a confusing, nonsensical joke but I smiled anyways, and then he told me I had great teeth. That meant a lot, considering that all of mine are real. There was a wide selection of food that seemed to scream "eat me - I'm bad for you and your upper thigh area", but I managed to put together a plate of veggies from the salad bar and some rotisserie chicken. I almost spit out the iced tea, which should have been sold as "iced sugar" - and then I asked the waitress to bring over a glass of the unsweetened stuff. I don't even think the worst buffets in Vegas could stoop this low. My suggestion for all of you is to keep driving and find somewhere else to eat.

This is the most disgusting place ever to eat. The workers where cleaning a leak and they where doing it over the food. The food is nasty cold dry and siting there since real early without changing it. Just Disgusting. I told the cashier on the way out. There was no manager around. I will never eat there again. I'm making sure no one I know will ever go there again. That place needs to close down and clean up get all those nasty people that work there out and get clean kind people who care about people food. The Heath Department needs to check this place. I put 1 star because it will not let me post without a rate.

Yesterday, September 5, I commented on this site about the Golden Corral on Semoran Blvd in Orlando. This AM, I visited this restaurant for breakfast, so I can compare and contrast the specific items I noted about the Orlando location. Coffee: Noticeably better than Semoran Blvd. I'd give this 3 1/2 stars. Omelets: If Semoran Blvd was a C+, this was an A-. None of the ingredients was pre-cooked. This cook handled the cheese differently inside the omelet rather than waiting for the end and allowing the fold to melt the cheese. Sausage gravy: The same - long on gravy and very, very, very short on sausage, as if it would break the company's bank to add a little more to the mixture. Bacon: Better cooked than Semoran Blvd, but a bit inconsistent in "doneness." Creamed chipped beef: This place does not have any. Boooooooo! Sausage: Not nearly as good as Semoran Blvd. That sausage (small patties) appeared to have been hand-shaped, while this was purely pre-cooked packaged patties that were dry. Other items I viewed appeared to be fresher and better presented than Semoran Blvd. A pity that this store is not open for breakfast during the week, only on Fri, Sat. and Sun.

I was pleasantly surprised by out dining experience this evening. I am usually not a buffet fan; tonight I am. Our food was very hit, and very fresh. Tonight they were serving steak cooked to order, and bbq ribs. Both had surprisingly good flavor. My steak, ordered closer to rare than medium-rare, was cooked exactly how I wanted it. Other items hot and fresh tonight: fried chicken, chicken and dumplings meatloaf, a variety of Mexican food, a few Asian dishes, a large variety of green salads, and other types of salads. For dessert a large chocolate fountain, delicious carrot cake, brownies, ice cream, fudge, and many, many other items. I forgot to add that I enjoyed fried shrimp with my steak. The atmosphere is noisy, the floors aren't the cleanest, and the cashier was a bit grumpy. There was a large crowd tonight, and many children. Despite the few caveats I listed, I will again dine here. My daughter has been to the chocolate fountain 3 times, she gives the place 5 stars (what kid wouldn't), but I will stick by a solid 3 star rating. Decent value, family friendly.

I am not a fan of large buffet restaurants due to the price. I always stuff myself to make sure I get my money's worth of food. I find this restaurant pricey like the others especially for a family of 4. They do offer a military discount that helps. You have just about every type of meat and side you are looking for or craving. I stick to my usual choices...fried chicken, mashed potatoes, mac n cheese, and green beans. My husband loads up on meats. My boys love the veggies and of course the ice cream bar. =) They have a decent variety of salad and veggies. If you have a sweet tooth...this is the place...fondue, ice cream, cakes etc. The restaurant has always been clean, and the servers have been nice but scarce. I recommend going earlier than later. It seems that right at 11 is the perfect time or the late in the afternoon around 3 if you want to skip the crowds.

Has anyone seen the video of the employee of GC in Palm Bay showing the treatment of food...put by the dumpster due to an inspection schedule. It was disgusting. Raw burger patties, ribs, casseroles, gravies...not to mention the flies..in the enclosed dumpster area behind a wood fence. I couldn't believe it but I'm not going to try my luck. Naw!!!!!!!!!!!!!
